The Cabo Wabo Cantina is now open! We had to close 2 days because of water damage but everyone keep your fingers crossed this is the last hurricane of the season to hit Cabo and that the birthday bash goes as planned.  All the employees and their families are safe!

The Dine For A Cause dinner last night was a huge success! El Paseo in Mill Valley was at full capacity all night.  Kari and I want to thank all the people that supported Dine For A Cause last night (which benefitted Ambassadors Of Hope And Opportunity) for working together with us to help homeless teens! As always The Hagar family foundation will match the funds from the restaurant which should go a long way to help kids in Marin

We just filmed the final episode of Season 2 of Rock & Roll Road Trip and it went really well – the interview with Adam Levine and his car was very up close and personal, then later at the studio where Maroon 5 is recording we did some more interview and a performance of "Heard It Through The Grapevine" by Marvin Gaye. Richie Sambora and Orianthi popped in for a surprise guest jam on the song, very cool!

I've been so impressed and surprised with Andrew's commitment to writing songs, singing, and learning to play different instruments!  It is blowing my mind how he can step up in front of 50,000 hard-core metal rock heads with an acoustic guitar and deliver.   He's fearless and a handsome devil I must say, ha ha.  When I asked him if he was nervous he said, 'a little bit, but it's nothing like walking into the ring with the guy across from you wanting to hurt you really bad'.  I guess his mixed martial arts experience is paying off.

The Circle killed it at the concert last night in St. Louis! There was a lot of St. Louis in the house with over 40,000 people singing and partying with the Circle! And that is after they had been out all day in hot and humid but still beautiful weather. I interviewed a lot of the artists at the fest for an episode of Rock & Roll Road Trip (stay tuned). Acoustic 4 A Cure is becoming so much more than I originally thought it could be. It's taking on a life of its own and the artists are bringing it big time. I've seen so much love coming off that stage and I know the fans feel it to! There's something about doing things for the right reason that makes it even more special. The artists are not being paid, they donate their time and talent and you can feel it from each and everyone of them. Everyone keeps asking me which year has been your favorite and I guess the only way to answer that is to say 'hopefully next year’ ha!

Kari and I decided to take a trip to the Kentucky Derby for the first time with some friends. The weekend kicked off Friday night at the pre-derby party/charity event! Lots of athletes and movie celebs, from Jeff Bridges to Tom Brady attended, joined by Kelly Clarkson, Travis Tritt, Kid Rock, and the Boys 2 Men gang plus others. Not my usual kind of gala but it was successful and packed beyond belief. You can see a photo below of Richie Sambora and I before we hit the stage. It was Cabo Wabo style! All the performers were let loose to jam with nothing worked up ahead of time.

My thoughts go out to the family of Scott Hoffman, a long time Redhead, who passed away on Sunday. Rest in peace Scott, my love goes out to the family
