Andrew Zimmern from Travel Channel's Bizarre Foods was in town so we both hopped up on stage and he added some energy and vocals to sing Mas Tequila and a wild jam on Roadhouse Blues. Hey Redheads - I know I told you about the crazy time I had with my brother-from-another-mother Guy Fieri shooting an episode of his "Guy's Big Bites" TV show the other week, but I just got some photos and I had to share. Hey Redheads! Lots to be excited about right now - the Beach Bar Rum is now in BevMo's throughout California as well as in tons of places in Vegas, including the Cabo Wabo - woo! The response so far has been out of sight and we are continuing to get it more places so keep your eye out for that.

For me Ronnie's passing is the end of an era. Ronnie Montrose gave me my first break as a songwriter, as a front man, as a recording artist and as a touring artist, and for that I will always be grateful. The first Montrose album was the first album I ever recorded and it still stands as one of the best recordings I have ever been a part of. I was looking forward to a reunion for my birthday bash in Cabo with Denny, Bill and Ronnie - one of the few bands from that era where all four original members were still able to do it.

Last week I traveled down to Las Vegas to celebrate my Beach Bar Rum arriving to the mainland! Too much fun with a bunch of friends - stop in at the Vegas Cabo Wabo and check it out... Wooo!

Redheads- I can't tell you how excited I am that my Beach Bar Rum is finally coming to the mainland starting in the middle of February! After that, it'll be picking up through March into other states and just keep your eye on sammysbeachbarrum.com for the latest news! I was very sad to hear the news last week that Queen Redhead Cabo Kim lost her fight with cancer. A couple months back at the 'Foot show in St. Louis we got to spend a little time time hanging out before the show - and even in a wheel chair her spirits were still high and she was ready to rock. My heart goes out to her family and friends - she has ruled the Redheads for so long and we will all miss her.

Hey there Redheads. Happy Holidays From Sammy! What a wild few months, hopefully you had a chance to hear the new Christmas song my buddy Toby Keith and I put out this year "Santa's going South for Christmas" We had a blast doing it and are excited hearing all the positive reactions. What an amazing opening 2 nights to the Foot's Road Test shows in SF and LA! I was so pumped to kick off the Road Test Tour in my home town and the crowd did not disappoint!
