You didn't anything at all for us here in Florida this weekend and not single return email thanks a lot.

Hope that something can get worked out for all the Red Heads that will be in town this weekend. If nothing else, let's throw a Red Head party and just maybe Sam will show up. Hilton, Hyatt, Sealegs, My house. :) Until this happens, I'll be Waboing around Main st this weekend wearing a Cabo Wabo shirt.

FRONTGATE IS LIVE NATIONS AND TICKETMAST ITS SUCH BS , THEY NEED TO COME UP WITH A COMPENSATION PACKAGE.

Nobodys announcing anything because they dont care. All these bands had planned on being in huntington all weekend anyway so why cant at lease one of them play somewhere?! Even a hotel conference room or something! All of us rock fans are gonna be there anyway because we all spent money on non refundable plane tickets and hotel rooms. Cant any band or sammy please play somewhere for us?? Eddie trunk said he knew something was up a week or so ago when the promoter still hadnt paid him his deposit and he was hearing from bands they hadnt been paid their deposit either. Apparently they didnt pay their permits either. Eddie thinks it all leads back to the promoter not having enough money and most likely because of low ticket sales..... I dont know why sammy would put his name on anything with that promoter again after the fiasco last year was. We waited in line for over an hour for beer alone....sigh... So frustrated

Everyone wants to just let this go but like you a i agree when you put your name on something its 100% your responsibility to insure proper management, saying they learned a lot from last year is another hard to swallow statement since it appears they learned nothing.

How could this happen Sammy? You're one of the most professional rockers out there, a top notch business man. How could you not keep up on what was going on for your signature event? Last year we waited in a very long line for a very long time and missed a lot of the early bands because of poor planning, and now this. How could the permits NOT be in place just a week out?

A free concert in Cabo in less than two weeks? That won't work for most of us, we have jobs to go to or business to run, I shut down my machine shop for a week and tied this to my brothers visit to the Central Coast.You need to do something special just for us High Tide folks down the road far enough so we can regroup.

I know you are just as devastated about this as the rest of us, you had an absolute ball with REO, Vince and the rest last year. You need to hold the management companies feet to the fire on this one! Sure hoping to see you in the not too distant future at an equally awesome event.

BTW on a side note, do you remember when my Niece stepped on your Birthday cake in Cabo many years ago? We still give her a hard time about that!

Not sure what's going on here. I had been in contact with FrontGate about the tickets not shipping and all I received was a response that they would be electronically delivered and I was refunded the $8 shipping charge. I was also in contact with FREEZE about the hotel reservation (which they messed up) which was confirmed and still valid (using the confirmation number they sent me through hilton.com)

I flew out to Arizona last Saturday and have only been checking email. I haven't received any notice of cancellation, there are no refunds for the tickets/hotel on my account as of today. I found this and my heart just sank. Waaay beyond disappointed here. What the *&$# is going on?! I was going to drive up to Las Vegas and then scheduled to drop off my rental car in Santa Ana on Friday and fly out on Monday.

At this point it would cost me a ton more money (that I don't have) to change flights, extend the car rental and everything else. So it looks like it's going to be 'cheaper' to stay in Huntington Beach Fri-Mon with no car, no concert and nothing to do. I don't surf and my wife has extreme light sensitivity issues, the ONLY reason I wanted to ask her to push it was to see the Circle and the other bands, especially Extreme (CT Native). I would have rather stayed in Sedona for my birthday (9/17) to hers (today, 9/24) for about $4k less but I changed it because I really wanted to see Sammy, Mikey, Vic and Jason (and Dugie!)

So I burned up my vacation time and spent all the money for VIP and the hotel as a birthday present to myself. I've had a very hard couple years (job loss, my mother died 2 years ago and my wife being sick) and rarely ever get to take any vacation. If I hadn't logged on here I would have driven out to HB only to find out there was no show, so I get to be disappointed early and drive out there to sit in a hotel room for 4 days and do nothing. Even if I could get the time off I really don't think I could afford to fly out to Cabo and 'first-come first-serve' only means that I will likely be beaten out by the more rabid RedHeads because I don't have time to sit online all day.

What really gets me here is the lack of communication. What you could do is contact these people (FrontGate, FREEZE or whomever else) and let them know they NEED TO CONTACT THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE PAID FOR TICKETS DIRECTLY and let them know so they can change their plans if possible. It's obviously too late for me and a lot of others but maybe not for everyone. If I hadn't logged on here and I was flying out for the show I'd still be planning on doing it.

Not sure there's a way to make this up or fix it at this point. Being in CT I've only ever got to see Sammy twice, and had to drive and book a hotel to do so. I was happy to do it for this but I guess that's not happening now. Maybe I'll see some of you out in Cali this weekend.

What I heard is that they did not sell enough tickets to cover the cost of everything. Maybe get better bands other then KC and Beach Boys . We’re A bunch of old 80 Rockers need to ROCK !

I’d like a show in Huntington Beach this weekend. Not everyone can make it to Cabo and we've Spent a lot of money on this weekend! That would be the best correction for those of us who will still be down there. I know you have little control over the issues, but, it would be great to see you!!

Life is full of curveballs.... We had six of us coming from Ohio and like everyone else lost money due to the cancellation. Anything that you can do we would greatly appreciate. We have never won the lottery for the Cabo tickets but we go see you whenever we can. Thank you for being you, you bring lots of joy to many people. Until next time....

I know that this unbelievable situation is no fault of yours. I know how important your fans are to you, this must be killing you. I appreciate you putting on a free show on first come first serve basis in Cabo October 8th. I myself have lost a couple thousand dollars on air, hotel and tickets, from the cancellation of the High Tide Beach Party. I have plans to come to Cabo for the Birthday Bash week. I was not fortunate enough to win the ticket lottery, but plan to stand in line for each of the dinner show nights. I am a very loyal fan, and have been to every Birthday Bash in the last 10 years, been to Kari's 80's themed Birthday Party, and every show at the Tulalip.

I had a thought, I know you have already announced the October 8th show as free first come first serve, what if you give the fans that had/have proof of tickets to the High Tide Beach Party and still came down to Cabo for the Birthday Bash week, priority entrance with on October 8th. I understand if this is not possible, but would really appreciate your consideration.
