This was my first concert ever! I was turning 17 that september and the date was August 14th 1999. My favorite radio station, Z92, was throwing their 21st birthday bash, an all day concert extravaganza! The show consisted of Joe Walsh, Paul Rogers, Blue Oyster Cult and headlined by Sammy Hagar and the Waboritas! It's a day I'll always remember. My uncle, who was like a brother,bestfriend and dad to me before he passed away just 4 years later, decided that he was going to take me to see Sammy, since I have 5 top vocalist that I have consistantly followed since I was 5 and Sammy is one of them.
