Right at 4 months and not a single new post here. Guess that means we've all given up and moved to facebook. I miss the old days of chatting with my redhead friends. :(

Does it surprise you really? I mean it's pretty obvious that this forum is not a priority of the admin these days. If it was they would have it up and running like the old one as we all keep requesting.

Yep, this format just sucks and no one who runs this place cares, so why should we? It's been a year, almost to the day since this new website went up...more than enough time to get us Redheads a GOOD up and running forum (which many of us have asked over and over about, and keep getting told..." soon, it's coming"). It's obvious they don't care to, so we are pretty much forced to find our Redhead family on facebook. (Which kinda sucks because not everyone is on facebook) Not cool of them to take a real cool forum, so many of us loved and contributed to for so long, away from us and then give us THIS crap. We'd even be more happy to keep our OLD forum, which is still there, just riddled with SPAM and probably viruses galore. I read a comment made by admin on a blog a while back saying they are going to clean the old forum up...LOL...there's no way they are gonna do that...have you SEEN that place?! I thought this would be a new and improved Redrocker site...it took two steps backwards if you ask me, and throwing this crappy forum up for us feels like a slap in the face. Wonder how Joe's fans (or any other large fan group) would feel if admin took their forum away :-\
I sure do miss chatting DAILY with you all, we had so much fun...now, nothing :(

Hello Kath, I read your comment about the old forum. I haven't been there in a long time. I was quite aggravated about all the SPAM. It's great that this is available but it really lacks personality.
I started a RedRocker thread on another forum that I belong to. You should come check it out. I'm trying to get the RedHeads to come over and talk. So far I've got only 3 of us registered and cabomighk is the only one that has been stopping by to comment.

Glad to hear you had such a good experience at the book signing Kath...had a great time myself. Sorry to hear so many others were disappointed. I'm sure Sammy will NEVER do anything like that again LOL!!

Hi Dar - I have emailed several times & not had a response - I'm going to phone instead ... just need to get the timing right ...If that fails then I'll try my get out of jail free card & have it sent to my Aunt who lives in Fl & get her to forward it on to me. Pete L did drop me a note, Ill see how he got on. Hope you guys are all tickety - boo :-)

No I'm not planning any trips. I'm busy with college. We have spring break this next week and I'm going to use it to try to get ahead. I'd like to take the weekends off for the rest of the semester.
I'd love to meet you guys in Jersey. My job takes me to Atlantic city a couple of times a year. I'll have to let you guys know If I'm coming that way. I wish Sammy would open one here. Oh Well.... I love the beach bars. We've got some great places down here.

I would love to get out of the city too! Sick of winter, sick of the cold. I wish global warming would take off here in Utah, this winter has been so snowy and cold. Gonna try to head to Moab, where the sun does shine this time of the year. 2 months and 2 days til Sammy in Tahoe!!! Cant wait!

Maybe you'll have to meet some of us crazy East Coast Redheads at Sammy's Beach Bar in Jersey this summer :) Even if Sammy's not there, we have SOOO much fun...and on a hot summer night, the beach bar is just WAY cool!! Wonder if Sammy will do any show's on the East Coast this year. With all things I'm wondering about, I best make out a list so I can remember to ask him everything at the signing LOL...hopefully the signings wont be too rushed.

I'm excited about Sammy's Book Tour. It doesn't seem like he comes to Florida enough. I wish he'd open a Cantina here in St. Pete. It's been way too long since I've been to a show. I'll be going back on the road in May so maybe we will cross paths somewhere along the way!
Well, I'm almost ready to start my Spring Break. I've got to finish up some posts for my Humanities class and then I can take the weekend off. That will be a first since the semester started.

Then on the 18th taking my daughter to a free Sick Puppies concert at the Mohegan Sun Casino in CT. One of her FAVS...she's pretty shy, so Mom will see what she can do to get an autograph and possibly a picture :) She's SOOO psyched!! It'll be fun :)
