Hi Kath we have some fantastic international rugby going on at the moment - a competition call the Six Nations - presuming that the link stays attached to this note this was a game from the weekend - really was a great game and for a neutral observer a really good intro to the game at its highest level. Glad your back with us Neil...we missed ya! No, there is no way to 'brighten' up this place. They were suppose to be working on a new forum for us, one that has all the fun bells and wistles, but don't know what happened...maybe too many other things to work on first? Dunno...
Thanks for the kudos on my rant...was just very frustrated...this place means a lot to many of us and we MISS being able to interact daily like we use too :(

Glad to see we a getting a couple people stopping in every now and then. But it's just the same is it? Looks ugly, had to follow and a pain to post to. I'm not techie, but it seems to me that there should be a way to copy the format of the old forum here. I would love that. I really miss chatting with all my redhead buddies. I keep checking in to see if any improvements have been made.
Maybe we could use the old Vote Number 1 forum. The moderator decided to close the page and the Bon Jovi fans saved the forum. So there is a lot of Jovi stuff on the front burner there.
But there is room for Sammy. I messed around a little with a Scrapbook of photos and such. Would you guys like to check it out?

You can post photos.... change your font... embedded videos and post GIF animations. Replies are nested.
I gab with the Jovi gang and there are a few of us that are Rush fans. There was a lot of Queen fans, but they didn't make it through the transition. All the archives have been saved. Lots of good stuff there.
You have to have your beginning posts approved until the new moderators realize that you aren't a troller or Spammer. Nice folks there!

YES, I totally remember that moment in Cabo at the Cantina...2007, broken ankle, yes that was me lol!! We had just met Laura, John and the whole OU812 band...met Katharin & her hubby for the first time...Just wish I could remember YOU taking our picture...THANK you for that, I still have those cherished pics...that was such a busy afternoon...so much emotion meeting friends I've only talked to online and on the phone for so long. If not for the broken ankle, that would have been a perfect trip. I had my girls with me that year...they were at the cantina with us at that moment..

I think everything you said is spot on! I cant beleive I can get more info from a Van Halen board than the Red Rocker site. Usually this place would be buzzing with all of the things coming up. Once this place went on line, it seems every REDHEAD died with the old site. We need the store back too, once again, you have to go to a Van Halen site to buy anything related to Sammy or Cabo Wabo. Maybe it has got to the point where Sammy doesnt really want to bother with it, I hope not though.

will never take off. The fans don't like it, it's a pain and to be honest, it just plain sucks! How long has it been now since we've gotten this *new* website? Personally, I think it's ridiculous that we don't have a complete site by now. The Redrocker store has been down for what, at LEAST 2 years?? And they're just now working on a new one?? This forum bombed from the beginning (some of us diehards tried!!)...the old one was awesome but the 'new' Redrocker team wanted a whole new format/website...not to mention the 'new' team are professionals (or so I thought) who run many other artists websites, not just this one. I think I liked it better when the website/forum was run by the 'fans'...much more love and passion was put into it...it really meant something, and everyone's input was welcomed. Right now, it's just a 'business' and obviously not one of which is a priority. It's pretty sad when a FAN page on facebook has more daily traffic, passion and love flowing through it than the 'official' site does! That should speak volumes right there...
I always thought us REDHEADS were more important than that...maybe I was wrong. I'll ask Sammy next month when I see him at the book singing! OH yeah, even THAT hasn't been posted on the main page...it's under the 'Events' section. I would think that is important enough to put on the main page, no? We'd be chatting up a storm about it if we had a decent forum to discuss it on...
I gotta go do that stupid CAPTCHA thing now...

Welcome to the Cafe!! Sorry no one has been here to say hello or welcome you but if I understood what admin had posted, they will be getting rid of this forum and giving us a new one, so not many have been coming here regularly like we use to.
Yep, looks like the 'old' forum has gotten hacked...bummer, I really liked that forum...wish they could have kept it.
Hopefully we'll get a new one here soon...
Anywho, glad you found the forum and cafe...normally it's pretty busy, but this new forum is a pain with the way it's set up and the Captcha and no one really likes using it...but we're here :)

This isn't the annual NW Redhead Bash. That is always in March. This just just a group of us getting together because we can. :) I know the gals in charge of the big bash will be there Saturday. I'll see if they've picked a date yet. I'd love to see you come up for it. We almost had Chip there last year. But he opted to go to a family wedding instead.

Good morning Redheads. Hope this week is treating everyone good so far. I'm officially done with football for the year. The Cowboys totally suck and I don't know what has happened to the Longhorns. Guess I'll start watching hockey.
Looking forward to the weekend. Going to catch a concert in Portland on Friday night. Then on Saturday a bunch of NW redheads are getting together. Rumor has it the famous Tim Taylor will make an appearance. LOL!

Hi gang...hope all is well and everyone had a good weekend.
Just might check out the film this coming Dec 11th in SF since I missed it in Cabo. It looks like it will be fun with all that is posted, plus the $$$ is going to charity so I really don't mind paying the high price of $100 per person.
Cary is in Las Vegas for business for the week, so it is just me and Ooski at the ranch...might go out with the girls, but being a week night, it is hard getting up and going to work the next morning. I used to be able to stay out all night and then come home, change my clothes and then go straight to work, it bites getting old!
