Hey REDheads,

This past Thursday, the 22nd, me and the Wabo's jammed with Johnny Hiland at 

The Sweetwater in Mill Valley.  He is an awesome guitar player.   We played, 

"Going Down", "Mustang Sally" and "Honky Tonk Woman".  Steve Vai said that he 

couldn't play like Johnny Hiland even with a gun put to his head.

SAMMY'S NEW YEAR WITH NICKELBACKERS AND RED HOT CHILI PEPPER.

If your New Year's was anything like ours, you

probably don't remember much of it. But Cabo San Lucas

transplant Sammy Hagar is one dude who had a pretty memorable

New Year's celebration from the sounds of it. First off, not only did it

stretch well into the 2nd of January, but it involved Red Hot Chili

Pepper Chad Smith filling in on drums during a performance, and

a few drinks shared with Nickelback's Chad and Mike Kroeger.

Live Music Meets the Superbowl

Rocker Sammy Hagar, seen in a June 2002 performance in Houston, is one of the stars of the SuperBash, a 5-day series of concerts leading up to the Super Bowl here, Jan. 28-Feb. 1. Hagar will also host the main stage for three of those days.
