 10 Redhead Comments

What an awesome experience!!! Sammy...If you happen to read this, I was the guy you poured the Red Head Rum to during Three Lock Box!! It was real good and I'm still looking for it in South New Jersey!

The show was great, the band sounded awesome, Mikey's appearance was a bonus treat for all of us (I even got a high five from him), and Sammy sounded as great as ever. It was the first time I've ever been first row for a concert and it was the best experience I've ever had at a Sammy show!! (I've been to many of them!)

I'm so glad I made the drive down from NJ with my 2 brothers!

Thanks again Sammy!!!

Another awesome performance by the Red Rocker! Great mini set, played about an hour and with the Nats on-field offer, Sammy was flanked by the couple-hundred of us allowed onto the base path. Huge bonus was Michael Anthony also performing. What a show!

so psyched for this. I am going, coming all the way from NY and going to make it a long weekend in the DC area with the family.

I'm going!!! Can't wait to see Sammy for just a small portion of this 4 Decades Tour even though it won't be a full show!

I work for the Phillies and it KILLS me that I have to go to Nationals Park to see Sammy but that's what a dedicated Red Head does, right?!?!?!?!?!

The box office told me that the stage will be set up behind 2nd base and we can buy wristbands during the game that allow access to the field for the concert. The rep said he thinks the wristbands are $20.

Also, I'd recommend driving to the game. If the game goes over 3 hours, the metro will likely be shut down by the time the concert is over.

Tickets in hand and we are ready to party!!

From what I've been told by a season ticket holder at past concerts you can pay extra and go onto the field if not just sit in your seat.

Does anybody know exactly how this works in terms of seating for this show? Is there seating or basically do you just crowd onto the field after the game is over and stand to watch the concert. If it is the latter how do they keep any kind of control over the crowd.
