I did The Big Interview with Dan Rather yesterday. It went great and afterwards I took Dan Rather for a ride in the LaFerrari. Dan and the crew had eaten at El Paseo the night before and then last night after the interview, Kari and I had dinner with Kiefer Sutherland, Bob & Natasha Weir, Danny Zelisko, Jude Cole (great song writer) and my oldest friends in the world, Johnny & Edwina Barbis!

The food was fantastic as usual and the company was almost as good hahahaha! 

Sammy Hagar is my favorite rock n' roll singer of all time. Van Hagar is my favorite version of Van Halen by a country mile. Balance is possibly my favorite Van Hagar album with OU812 a near tie.

From Sammy's book and his recent comments commemorating the 21st anniversary of Balance, we fans now understand the storm clouds that were hovering during the recording of this album and during the ensuing tour. I saw Van Halen three times on the Balance tour, and to my eye, the guys were bringing it and I saw no real signs of animosity.

On Saturday, I went to the Metallica show. This was backstage before the show with Lars and James, then I went to the Red Hot Chili Pepper pre-Super Bowl private party and hung out with my good buddy, Chad. 

Sammy is everywhere! hee he he!

Trying to buy tix on Redhead forum but this site does not even list the show yet. Will we be able to purchase tix early? They go on sale to the public this Friday February 12th

On Sammy's new show, Rock and Roll Road Trip on AXS TV, anyone else notice an obscure small doll/figurine that looks like a caricature of Sammy screaming? It has yellow hair and was on a large mixer board on one episode. I think it appeared in both of the first two episodes aired so far, but am not sure. It's definitely not his bobble head where he's kneeling - it's smaller than that.
Question: What is it and where can I get one?

So in 1983, I believe, I saw Sammy for the first time in Casper, WY. I saw him again in Casper around 1984 with Night Ranger (Dawn Patrol), and then in either 1986 or 87 with Van Halen, again in Casper,WY.

I just want to say that I'm so proud about the success of The Circle DVD. I just love playing with this band and it makes me so happy that the fans are embracing this latest musical adventure. WE ARE #2 on the music video charts - its outta sight!!!
