Hey anybody else having probs friending people on this site? It just gives me this swirlie thingy. Maybe I am just unpopular. I had a flying lesson with OO7 yesterday. It was beautiful, flew to Ketchikan (saw many eagles fly). The float plane is harder to fly than the 172 (pictured). I only felt a little sick on the landing. Our internet is sporatic and tempermental here on Prince of Wales. Don't let me miss out on Birthday Bash ticket sales!

Well Guys and Dolls, Redheads and such:
I made it once again to Alaska this time in a very different way. As you know I am married to OO7 and with that comes a uniqueness that can’t really be explained but I will try anyway.

I just wrote the words THE END on the rough draft. Oooooh yeah, I like it hot!

So Redheads here’s the story:

I woke to Sam’s call; off of watch and the need to stay another week on the Columbia Ferry working for the man. I was for-warned yet I was highly disappointed. But the day was blessed with sunshine and I took my upset-self out onto the deck to discover, like yesterday’s extreme giddy delight, another (or the same) pod of orcas dancing through our front yard as the Inner Island Ferry (not the one Sam is on) made its daily morning pass like clockwork.

Here I am it’s almost 5:00 AM but I have been awake awhile, playing on Facebook chatting with a good friend who is three times zones away in Texas. Why am I up so early? Many reasons: I am not on a particular schedule and I have exhausted myself with painting the old cabin. Four days and going so far; So I fell into bed early last night (again) in the hopes of reading 12th Night, or one of my other plays and or books etc I have going, and or, to write. But I guess that was not to be (again) as I was asleep before my head hit the pillow.

I am ashamed to admit, and I thank goodness I can't remember his name, that I went on a date with a nice marine, whom I wasn't attracted to, to get to go to my second Sammy Hagar concert in Portland Oregon, must have been 1983ish, I wore my (now very embarrassing thought I looked cool at the time) red jump suit. That was uncool (me going on the date when I knew I was not going to give it up to this guy) not the concert. :) :(
I take that back, he was kind of a pushy guy, AND it was my FIRST Sammy Hagar concert, so that explains it! LOL!

Most of the people I shared these days with are on Facebook, and or are still my friends, and they might remember when I wore crimson as much as I now where my paint overalls (retired 2011).
