I have been a HUGE fan of Sammy for decades and I finally got the chance to meet him at Barnes & Noble bookstore in Roseville, Ca on March 24, 2011 Thursday night. IT WAS AWESOME... it was just for a minute, but it was the best day of my life! I walked up and got my two books signed, as I walked up, I blurted out "I LOVE YOU" and he read my shirt out loud "not for sale" which was his Cabo Wabo Sammy Hagar T-Shirt I picked up at seeing him at the Sleep Train a few years back. I said "no" (couldn't think straight at the time, so EXCITED to be meeting him), and then I asked for a hug, and he was so kind and let me hug him... BEST EVER! Sammy is really nice... and has the best smile. I was so beside myself with excitement, couldn't stop my hands from shaking awhile after the event... It really was a great experience!

It was worth waiting the two hours to meet him... his security at the event were nice. I chatted with one for awhile to pass the time. I never saw so many people in line at a book store... I could not believe once Sammy arrived how fast the line moved. I got to meet him within 40 minutes since the line moved. The whole event was very efficient. I walked away with no complaints (well, other than wishing I had more time to meet with him) but all in all, it was really good.

I'll never forget it, this will stay with me forever. SAMMY ROCKS! Sammy, "your the best, and I love your music and all that you stand for"!
