hello people, I'm new here. so let's start.. I'm huuuge fan of Sammy Hagar. I'm only 14 years old so I guess that I'm his fan is kinda strange to you. All that infatuation with Sammy starts when I heard how he sings Little White Lie on some music program. First of all, I thougt who the hell is Sammy Hagar? But from that day.. I'm craaaaazy about Sammy. Every day I listen about 10 his songs. My fav his album is 'Standing Hampton'. And for the end.. I wanna be in Cabo Wabo for Sammys birthday. That's my dream :)

Actually, no, I do not know where Cakovec is, I will have to look it up on a map. I'm sure that you will have some great Sammy stories soon....many wishes heading your way for things to happen.
Mike, yeah, it was very cool and even if I don't know for sure, I can at least hang on to the thought that Sammy gave the go ahead. You're right, he IS that kind of guy.

Hi Maja! That's so cool that you're such a big fan of Sammy. Welcome to the Redhead family! I really dig Standing Hampton myself (as well as everything else he has done solo, with Montrose, with Van Halen, etc.). Also, how crazy is it that I'm from Croatia too!?!? I was born in a small village called Vrbica, just outside of Mikanovci, in the general area of Osijek/Vinkovci/Dakovo. I was 2 1/2 years old when we moved to the states. Been a HUGE fan of Sammy's for many, many, many years and finally had the opportunity to go to Cabo in October of 2008. Went down there to get married but Hurricane Norbert blew in and ruined my wife's plans for a beach wedding....so instead, our wedding coordinator had to scramble to change plans and somehow was able to get us married in the Cabo Wabo Cantina on October 11th. We had our ceremony while they were setting up the gear for the show that night. From what I hear, Sammy personally gave the green light for us to get married in there. WOW! What a wedding gift! A few days later, we briefly met Sammy outside of the cantina after a private show and got our picture taken with him. What an amazing experience. Anyway, welcome and I hope that you are able to get to Cabo soon.

& I forget to mention that nobody from my school listen to Sammy.
Both of my kids (13 and 16) and any friend of my kids listen to Sammy because they have no choice. I enjoy it when one of my kids friends hears Sammy for the first time and they are blown away!!

I really really hope that one day I'll go to Cabo.
& I've mention that I'm 14 years old 'cause Sammy is rock legend, sincerely, nowadays there are no 14 years old boy or girl who listen music like Sammy, Van Halen, Montrose or general bands from the 80s. my friends listen music like Linkin Park, David Guetta.. nobody listen 80s! only me.
Welcome to the Redhead family Maja. Doesn't matter how young or old you are Sammy and his music have no age limits. Good luck on your quest to Cabo as I have never been either and am trying to get there myself.

and yes, I know that I'm from Croatia is a little problem. Cabo is far far far away from Croatia :D but as I say, when I'll have enough money, I'll go to Cabo and nothing's gonna stop me.

Hello and welcome! To the majority of us that followed his music from the beginning, he has been inspiration. When you get to see him live you will understand his ambition for what he plays and what he gives to the audience. Truly second to none. I read your profile and being from Croatia things are a little different from where you live to here in the United States. Cool thing is that music knows no boundries and we all have that common bond. Stay focused and make those dreams come true cause as Sammy says "that's what dreams are made of!" And get yourself to Cabo!!
