Yes, some people have made it sound like getting tickets is simple & easy! It is not! There will be over 120,000 hits on the site during the time the tickets are sold! They will sell about 500 tickets for each show! Each show will sell out in minutes! Realisticly we have less than a 10% chance of getting tickets! If you have dial up or satellite internet forget even trying! You need high-speed cable broadband internet to even have a chance! Personally I think this year will even be tougher!!
Good luck to all!

Only do the All Enclusive if you are going to hang/stay at the resort most of the time & only go into town a few times! I recommend finding a place in/near town within walking distance! The Rui Santa Fe isn't within walking distance, you need a rental car or taxi to get to town! Parking is not easy, & more than likely you will be drinking, not a good place to drive around drunk! If you think you will be going to the shows, expect to do alot of line time! Lines to get your wristbands on & lines to get into the Cantina for the shows! The day of the shows will be alot of grabbing food when & where you can! If you are going to Cabo for the shows, only book your trip when you have bought your show tickets! Each show will sell out in less than two minutes, many people will not be able to get tickets! Don't complain you booked a trip & couldn't get tickets, it will not do anything to help you get tickets! That's it! Keep in mind you can only get two tickets & the person who bought them has to show up with the other person who is going! They will put wristbands on you & your guest! The tickets are non-transferable!
Good luck!

Kat - All-inclusive is only good if you can do it for 1/2 of the time you are there or don't do it all. You can eat and drink for so much cheaper. The Marde is around the corner...it's a cheap party hotel with lots of Redheads and a great pool. If you want to go with a nicer place, then I suggest a time share at Playa Grande, Solmar and Wyndam...they are all walking distance and near the marina. Hope you love Cabo...you know we do!

I agree with Davo! If you do all inclusive you will miss out on what makes cabo awesome, the places to eat and bars!

I never go All enclusive....

Too many great places to eat and drink in Cabo. In addition the walk from the Riu (both sides) is really long to town and taking a cab to town every night gets pretty expensive. Just my opinion. Staying in the marina, stocking up on supplies is the way I go, and this will be trip 9 or 10 for me......

Oh and for the best pricing, book at RIU.com airfare and room. I booked a couple for $3133 for 2 ppl airfare and room RT from Chicago. Ours from Seattle for a SUITE was $2143
