I saw Sammy Hagar with Boston at the Wheeling Civic Center in the late 70s.First time I ever heard his music.I went out and got his album and have been a fan ever since.I also saw him with VH in Charleston WVA on the first tour.My kids grew up on rock and roll.I remember showing them the DREAMS video with the Blue Angels and 5150 was played a lot.My son wasn't a fan of Sammys but he did like Chickenfoot mostly because of the Chilli Peppers drummer.We recently saw him at the Carolina Rebellion and he finally won my son over.My daughter recently got married and I knew my kids had something up their sleves.My son taught himself to play guitar and is a good player.He doesn't have time for a band because of his work.At the father daughter dance the goal was to make dad cry.Theyl played an acoustic version of DREAMS with my son Zack playing and my other daughter Jennifer singing with Zack.They did make me cry and really touched my heart.I currently suffer from VERTIGO and have lost 2 good jobs because of it.I can still drive OK but I CANT DRIVE 55.With Vertigo I find my emotions have been harder to control but easier to express and I have wrote a bunch of songs that seem to come to me all the time.Zack was driving home from the wedding and saw a car smoking real bad so he pulled over to help.He told them to get out now and the car exploded just like in the movies and nobody was hurt.When he got back in his car the radio started playing DREAMS and he said it gave him chills.You now have another fan for life.Zacks birthday is October 11th and I've trying to save up and take him and give u a song I wrote called Old Rocker.If I don't get to go I want to give it to you and You can change it to red rocker if You want.I don't go to church much but I now go a little more.I told Zack that he must of had a couple of Blue Angels watching over him.Cause that's what DREAMS R MADE OF.
