I have to start off by saying this concert was a wild ride! This was my third Sammy concert and they just keep getting better each time. We are a rock and roll family. My dad, mom, sister, and I all went to the concert.

My dad is a HUGE Sammy fan. He ordered Sammy's book and we each read it. All my dad kept saying was how he wanted to get Sammy to sign his book at the concert. I knew this was not going to be an easy task to pull off, but I was going to try my best to see what I could do. After getting some "inside" information from a close friend who works at the casino, we were able to see Mona, David, and Vic Johnson go in for sound check. Vic even stopped to acknowledge my dad and shake hands. From, that point on...I knew it was going to be a good night.

Once the curtains rose and the concert started, I couldn't believe that no one was out of their seats yet and standing at the front of the stage. I knew right then....this was my chance. I took my dads book, a photo of Sammy, and a sharpie (red of course) and headed down to the stage. I was able to get right down to stand at the front of the stage in between Sammy and Vic. Sammy signed my dads book, picture, and even wore my dad's sombrero during the concert. I think my dad saw a glipse of heaven at that moment. LOL. During one of Vic's solo's, I was able to play his quitar with him. Talk about being on cloud 9!

After the concert, most of the redheads headed to The Chill Ultra Lounge inside the casino. The drummer, David had changed clothes and came down to the club to scope out the house band playing. No one even recognized him at the club. I was able to stand and have a whole conversation with him. I even introduced him to my dad. He is a really nice guy, laid back, and friendly.

The whole Sammy experience was one to remember! Can't wait to go again.
