Like many of you, Sammy changed my life. Unlike many of you, I wrote a book about it, but I've also been pondering another project for years--I want to help you tell YOUR story.

I'm asking you to contribute your stories, memories, poems, photos or songs, of which you own all rights to, to a book/journal that I will edit and compile in the coming months. I can't afford to pay you for your submissions, but I will give you credit for your work. The book will be a bound, published book, hopefully one day in ebook format and if it turns out good, I will send a copy to Sammy.

I've created a Facebook group called Cabo Memories Journal and if you'd like more information on this project, please join that group as I will post specific submission guidelines there. In the meantime, if you have something you'd like to contribute, please start gathering your thoughts about what you'd like to share.

You contribution must be all-original and you must be the author or photographer. Also--any stories that are negative or defamatory to others will not be considered for inclusion. Please, let's stay positive and respectful of each other.

This project will likely morph into whatever it wants to be--I've found that's what all my writing does--it becomes a thing of its own, and that's a beautiful thing, but for now, here's the official heads-up--I'm doing this.
