Just listened to the small teasers of the new album. WAY TO GO, BOYS!

Love the references to "Nine Inch Nails" and Zeppelin.

Based on the short snippets, my favorite by far is "Something Gone Wrong." At first I thought, "Oh no, not another my-baby-left-me-and-I'm-cryin'-in-my-beer song," but I was delighted to hear that this song has a deeper meaning--perhaps a reference to the year 2012 or the end of the world. Way to go, Sam! I also really like "Come Closer" and "Different Devil," such beautiful showcases of Sammy's incredible voice. And holy crap, I don't think I've ever heard Sammy scream like when he sings "I need a job!" on "Three and a Half Letters." Wooo yeah!

Sounds like Joe is in his glory again--how could he be anything less? He is mesmerizing. Oh, and Mikey's bass on "Dubai Blues"-- yeah, Mikey! Love them blues!

And Chad is kick-ass as always.

The first album blew me away with its hard rockin' music; Chickenfoot III sounds more like pure soul, like Sammy, Joe, Mike and Chad dug down deep and spilled it.
