Sammy Joining Meat Loaf Oct 24 for Bat Out Of Hell 35th!
Sammy is going to join Meat Loaf in celebrating the 35th anniversary of "Bat Out of Hell" (which has sold over 43 million copies!) tonight at the State Theatre in Cleveland, OH!
Do you remember Meat Loaf's 1995 release "Welcome to the Neighborhood"? It included the track "Amnesty is Granted" which Sammy wrote and performed with him.
This show is going to be a wild celebration and will also raise money for the Steve Popovich Legacy Foundation and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum education program.
Man, this is hand's down the best birthday bash yet! Hangin' at the beach with my family and friends, then my buddy Emeril cooked us an amazing dinner and we all headed to the Cabo Wabo where Kenny Chesney brought the whole band down and tore it up for 3 hours! The fans were so off the hook I just had to hit the stage and jam on a couple songs with Kenny -- and we even got Emeril on stage with us to sing back up on "I Can't Drive 55".
There's a regularly updated photo gallery of the ongoing Birthday Bash 2012 in Cabo on our Facebook Red Rocker page! Sammy, Emeril and Kenny have been rocking out with the Redheads in sunny Mexico and we're bringing you some of the highlights.
Featured along with Sammy are Emeril Lagasse, Kenny Chesney, Billy Duffy (The Cult), Jerry Cantrell (Alice in Chains), Matt Sorum (Velvet Revolver, Guns 'n Roses), Michael Anthony, Denny Carmassi (Montrose), and Joe Satriani.
