LOWELL DECLARES OCT 25 'SAMMY HAGAR DAY'
October 25th has been declared "Sammy Hagar Day" by the city of Lowell, MA in appreciation for the Hagar Family Foundation contribution to the local food bank, The Merrimack Valley Food Bank
The Merrimack Valley Food Bank will receive a gift from the Hagar Family Foundation as part of the Four Decades of Rock tour. Sammy is donating to local food banks in each U.S. city he visits and in celebration of National Food Day, there will be a gift of $5,000 presented to the Merrimack Valley Food Bank.
If you plan to be at this concert on October 25th, bring a canned good to the Tsongas Center Box Office and you'll receive $10 off your ticket!
As a child Sammy knew what it was to feel hunger and is committed to preventing others from experiencing it by donating to food relief agencies like the Merrimack Valley Food Bank that has provided food for 60,000 individuals monthly through a network of food pantries in 32 communities in the region since 1991.

Was a great show, and worthwhile cause. First time since 1999 I got to go to a Sammy show. This man is the REAL DEAL!
I love it that my home-town of Lowell is celebrating Sammy Hagar Day in tribute to a guy who gives back to so many.
In honor of this Lowell holiday, I'm taking the day off from work to party!
I can't wait for next Friday.
Wish we could afford to go to every show to help with such a worthy cause. You truly ROCK!
