Cabo Wabo Birthday Bash Tickets October 8, 9, 11, and 13 2010
This is how the system will work:
Tickets will be sold through Redrocker.com for $55 per ticket.
There will be a two ticket limit per person per show.
Tickets will be non refundable, non transferable and there are NO service charge fees. All sales are FINAL
We will accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
Purchased tickets will be available for pick up at the Cantina (2 pm to 10 pm) October 8, 9, 11 and 13th.
Tickets for each show will be available for pick up day of show only.
Ticket purchases will be made through a “PayPal†account similar to the current “On Stage†ticketing system.
You do not need a pay pal account to purchase a ticket, you can continue your purchase as a guest. Once you make a purchase you will receive a transaction ID number. You will want to keep this number for your records incase you have any issues. Your name MUST match the name on the purchasing credit card or pay pal account and you will be required to show proper photo ID to pick up your tickets (Drivers License or Passport). NO EXCEPTIONS
If it’s your Birthday:
If your birthday on either October 8,9,11, or 13th. Simply show up to the Cantina after 2pm that day with your government issued ID (Drivers License or passport) and you will receive an entry bracelet for that day’s show.
Dinner Shows
Dinner shows will be $90 per person
Dinner shows tickets sales will remain as in the past, they will be sold at the Cantina, first come first serve.
Dinner tickets will be sold at noon on the following dates:
October 7th for the Shows on the 8th and 9th
October 10th for the Shows on the 11th and 13th
2 tickets per person, added security will be added to those in line so we will not allow anyone to hold places in line for friends.
Please note that these will be the ONLY tickets available and no additional tickets will be given away day of show!
The rest will remain the same and the party will be better that ever!
Doors for all shows will be at 7:00pm and show time will be approximately 9:30pm

Tickets will go on sale Monday August 2, 2010. The schedule will be as follows, all times are PST (Pacific Standard Time):

Man, almost Had Tix for the 11th, had them in my cart and then got BOOTED!!!! It was then down too the show that I wanted too get into the most (the same as every year) the 13th (THE BASH!!!) Did not have alot of confidence but as if I was getting paid back from all my line and sidewalk dues that I've paid as RedHead Fanatic "BAM"!!! 7 Minutes after 1 Iwas the proud owner of 2 Tix!!!! Am still going too try for Dinner Tix on the 11th but either way feel truely blessed and "LUCKY" too get into my favorite show on the 13th! Even though the system did have some flaws and the fact that about 10,000 people were all crashing the site at the same time just wanted too say thanks Sammy for listening too the "MAJORITY" and letting us have the oppurtunity too see you Rock the CaboWabo again!!!! None of us know how long your going too keep doing this, but as long as you drag your Ass up their on stage we're going too be with you painting it RED! Thanks for always having the fans in mind first! Peace brother!!!!!
This might have worked out better for everyone if the "powers that be" would have stuck to the original plan and stopped tweeking the already tweeked way of setting it up.
Something needed to be done differently. I guess the line "Be carefule what you wish for" is true.
Sure would like to score 1 ticket for the 13th...I am S.O.L for tickets I tried and tried...headed to Cabo for my first trip...sure would like to party with Sammy on his birthday..What is the skinny on the dinner tickets..I'll pay $90...Please let me know Redheads..

10yr vet of attending B-Bash shows in cabo with no problems of spending the night with my redhead friends on the street to get FREE tickets! We book our trip a year in advance for this week just to see Sammy, This year we had 6 people going to cabo ( the first Sammy show for my daughter) but guess what? Do to the great new system and getting booted off 3 times after making it to the payment screen the 6 of us scored 2 tickets!!! Maybe had something to do with trying to get tickets while all of us were at work hoping not to get fired!! Going to be a great couple of months figuring out which 4 get their vacation ruined!!
This is one lifelong Sammy fan that hopes things are different for next year!!!

I am wondering how to do a trade. I have 2 tix for the 11th and 2 tix for the 13th. I need 4 tickets for the 13th and would consider a trade??? I was thinking I'd just do it down there, but how do you do it when they are under the same name?

No the system was not FOOL proof,Sammy asked people to ONLY buy 2 tickets for 1 show ONLY,so other people can get tickets but their are some of you redheads that BRAG about getting tickets to more than 1 show I say that is GREEDY ,if the system was fool proof people would have not been able to buy tickets for more than 1 show,the computer should have been able to recogize your usename and see that you had purchased tickets already and not let you buy for another show.That is how it should have been.If I could sell my vacation package I would.
also I forgot in my excitement of getting tickets. My youngest son and his girlfriend will be going to Cabo, her first time and his second.The first for both seeing Sammy on 10/13. we were all so lucky to get tickets and it's going to be a great family reunion in cabo!!!!
It sad to hear about all the people not getting through. I feel a lot of dedicated redheads didn't get tickets. I was lucky enough to get all 4 nights. I never missed a show waiting on line. Hopefully the people who complained about waiting on line will complain as much next year about the ticket system. Bring back the line. See U in Cabo!
I am so appreciative that they did it this way. It sucks planning a vacation and then spending it in the street + getting shut out and not getting in. What a relief knowing I'll finally be able to see a show... guaranteed.
I got tickets for 2 shows and I feel I am being greedy in a way as there are several that got none! We need to be grateful for what we have and stop complaining! You could have none! I planned on only going to at least one show but was fortunate to get tickets to 10/8 and 10/9 which is perfect as they are the weekend shows and the least amount of time I take off of work the better.

System worked great for me so I am very fortunate. It was very nerve racking not knowing if I was going to get tickets but everything worked out well. Now I can plan other activities in cabo and not have to worry about sleep or if I will get tickets. It's going to be a great bash this year.
I feel very lucky to have gotten tix to the 11th and 13th. It will be our first trip to Cabo. Now our trip will be complete. Look forward to meeting a bunch of new REDHEADS!!!!

I agree ticket system no so good. I've been in Cabo for the past five years during this time and have not gone to one of his concerts yet. I thought being able to buy tickets on line would be easy but forget that. We to tried several times. Got to the point of paying and KICKED OUT. Oh well, there was 8 of us and I know at least 6 of us do not have tickets.
You got tickets to 2 shows and are complaining? Wow! If everyone was like you then only 1/4 of the people who would be grateful to see just One show wouldn't get to. Apparently you are VERY special. Since it's your last show, maybe other more grateful people will get in next year.
EPIC FAIL. After years of telling my friends how fun THIS week is in Cabo, I finally talked them into it. We are a group of five with flights paid for and room reservations at the Mar. WITH NO TICKETS!! to see any of the shows. It's a big ol' world out there with lots of other cities and cultures to experience. Why would we all meet HERE again if we have no chance after online ticket sales to see the shows? It's our last trip. We won't be back.
I thought we was to buy 2 tickets to just 1 show so eveyone could have a chance to see a least 1 show,but I guess they have greedy people out there and do not care about the rest of us, that purchased tickets to more than just 1 show, now I have a trip booked to Cabo(for 6 months ahead of time) with NO TICKETS.BRING BACK THE OLD SYSTEM.
I definitely see the benefits of purchasing tix for the four shows as our trip to Cabo is a vacation and while Sammy and the shows are what bring us there, I must admit that having the extra hours on our hands will only enhance the Cabo experience for us.
I do sympathize with those people who enjoyed their time in those lineups, they are a fanatical breed and I admire that!
I hope that the new system won't keep those die hards away as I've met so many wonderful people that I would hate to see stay away this year because of the new system.
I was one of the lucky ones to get tix for all 4 shows and look forward to my time face down in Cabo!

I was there for the hurricane in 08. 14th in line and got kicked out at 2 A.M. It was one of the best times I've had in Cabo. Sleeping on the street, partying in a hurricane, with my Redhead buddies!!
I agree with Upfront, while I have met some jerks (Can count on 1 hand) I have met some of the coolest people while IN LINE ON THE STREET!!
Denise and Cary, Iowa Doug and Diane, KB, Gina Rose, Sherry and Rhea, Brando, Clegger, Aurora Mike, Dude, Jacque and Greg and God knows how many other people we know on sight. We love you guys and would have never met you if not for the dreaded "Line Time"!!
This whole system takes away from that experience. At least with line time, you earned your tickets and it wasn't left up to the whim of some computer. I feel for those that didn't get any tickets, please put it back the way it was.

Don't get me wrong...I am glad I got tickets for 2 of the shows (maybe even 3 show - a friend was trying too), but it was so fustrating getting to the end, thinking you have 10/13 tickets in hand, and BAM...NO...it didn't like the information or Pay Pal didn't work or getting the kick-out of the system??
I am grateful for not having to sleep on the sidewalk...but I may for 1 night just to try and get dinner tickets for the 13th.

I'm a little confused. I got an email confirmation from pay-pal, but nothing from redrockertickets. It said I got 2 tickets, but I haven't recieved any type of comfirmation from redrockertickets??? What does that mean????? HELP!!!!
There is no solution that will make everyone happy to be honest. I am glad I got my tickets to the show. I am looking forward to the week in Cabo on the beach rather than the street.

Got tix for the 13th. A little confused though...I recieved a receipt from pay-pal but not from red-rocker tickets. I went through all the steps and it said I got 2, but all I recieved via email is a pay-pal receipt. Does that mean I'm ok???? HELP!!!

I was kicked out of paypal twice. Tried for the 11th and again the 13th. I have paypal but had not used it before. Are they always trouble? If so I will get rid of it. 3 of us are going 2 of us will see one show. This is not better for us Sammy. We have always seen at least 3 shows a trip.I don't want to stand in the parking lot. So I guess I will stay at the hotel. I want from a CaboRat to a couch potato to a barfly. I have a feeling this trip will suck.

this was so BS, I was clicking to go to the second step to checkout and the next screen that comes up tells me that my cart was empty!!!!! WTF, absolute garbage, the site doesn't even list the show for the 13th anymore!!!
this REDhead is grateful for the new system...I've spent too much time on the sidewalk. Met some great(and some not so great)folks over the years, but looking forward to the luxury I paid for on my vacation rather than the noise and dirt of the street(not to mention threats of hurricanes and rains that potentially flood). Ticketing system worked perfectly for me and a number of friends --thanks rr.com! \m/
Am I the only one who actually liked the system? Sure it wasn't perfect. But neither is flying down, paying for a hotel, sleeping on the street... and still not getting in!

4 for 4... got tix to all the shows. Not happy about this at all! Why you ask? Because I know of over two dozen close Cabo Family / Redhead members who could not "score" tix, not even for one show. Computer issues, web site shut down, or they were at work, yada yada yada, it does not matter. They won’t be standing next to me as we have done for years. I’ll still have a good time, as well as everyone else who was lucky to grab tix, but it won’t be the same.
We never had a problem getting tickets before… even when the rain chased the line sitters away. We still got in. We looked out not only for our friends and family, but for those Redheads – and newbies - we didn’t even know. The Mexican mafia and the resort folks who “bought†their tickets, though annoying, still did not bother us because for the most part everyone got in. Those of you who have never been to Cabo and stated that you did not go because you did not want to risk losing money and not get into a show, just don’t get it. You could have gotten in! My first year I went solo, not know anyone, or anything about the lines, and I still got in… to all of the shows! All I have to say to you is get a life… you just… and never will (ever)… get it.
The reality is, and this is my opinion, Sammy wanted to control the line issue… health department, as well as local police, seem to have been riding him about the lines. Could have easily gotten rid of that issue by not allowing lines to start until 5 or 6am, we saw it happen before and it worked. I also feel it is a money issue… why not cash in on hardcore fans which drive across country, or come from overseas, to see Sammy, the Wabos, and Chickenfoot. Make sense, base economics… right?
I’ll be pissed if I see people scalping tix above and beyond the cost… I have a feeling that may happen… this sux Sammy. I love ya, but I won’t have most of MY Redhead family around me as you play yet another great show. Kind of sad.
One last note… I won’t be drinking during the shows… you basically got me beer money out of the ticket cost.

I first want to say Yes I did get tickets for the 9th. And were going to rock with Sammy. But this has really been a frustrating experience. A group us already had bought airfare and lodging and were ready for standing in line and then I’m told by friends per your web site this is what the fans wanted. Someone please show how this works better than how it was in the past. If you wanted tickets bad enough you waited in a line and got to party to boot and meet other like people that are now life friends. What was this have a ticket in your check out have it at the last part of check out 3 of 3 and then have the dam ticketing site crash. There has to be better way Sammy. We love you. And this was a great big hassle. Everyone I talked to had it crash at least once. Please change it back or at least look at better way than this. Redheads speak up and tell them this was wrong. I’d love to hear from anyone that had a trouble free time of this. H.A.S.S.L.E. We’ll at least we know the money will go to a good place. This might be end of the fun as we knew it. Peace and I’ll see my brothers and sisters down there. Bummed too say the least. He who had the best connection wins. Boo Hiss. Sammy Please ask the crowd at the shows what they thought and go from there.

Does anyone know if there will be any tickets for sale prior to the show's, I thought I read that they were selling approx 500 and the occupancy is around 850?

Holy Crap! Do I feel lucky. I couldn't get tickets on the 11th from my home PC so I hauled donkey into work to get on a faster connection. Was able to get 'em for the 13th show. WHEW! I will see you guys down there.
