The Redrocker joined his long time friend Whoopi Goldberg to mix drinks, cook recipes, and talk lifestyle from his new book, "Are We Having Any Fun Yet? The Cooking & Partying Handbook". The rest of the ladies of The View enjoyed eating a feast of food from recipes in the book and Sammy's restaurant El Paseo and played a drinking game where every time Whoopi or Sammy said "Party" they had to take a drink!

I had a great time seeing Sammy at the view. I was the only studio audience member to be wearing a Van Halen OU812 concert shirt!! I had hoped to meet Sammy to get an autograph!! I'm a huge fan, I was at 2 Van Halen concerts with Sammy as lead singer. I even remember one of Sammy's songs from an animated movie=="Heavy Metal". If Sammy comes back to NYC, I hope to meet you someday. I met Eddie, Alex, Michael Anthony, when Gary Charrone was Van Halen lead singer for 1 album, at Virgin Record store in NYC!!
Just watched Sammy on the View!!!!!
