Event 7:00PM. Part of the book signing tour for Red: My Uncensored Life in Rock. Only books will be signed, photos permitted but no posed pictures.
Sammy will be signing books from 7:00 – 9:00 pm
FAQ's
Do I need to preorder a book? If so, how do I put in an order?
Customers may call 714-897-8781 and reserve/hold a copy of the book.
What if I already bought a copy of the book? Will I be allowed to get in line to have Sammy sign my copy, or does my copy need to be bought at your store?
If bringing a book purchased elsewhere, please have copy of receipt also. Yes, they will be able to get it signed.
How will I gain admittance to the signing? Do I need a wristband or a ticket? If so, how do I get one?
Book signing line will be first come, first served. Must have a book to enter signing line (1 adult or minors may accompany customer with book ).
How early should I show up?
Signing line will open at 5pm.
If I can’t make it to the signing, are you taking phone orders for signed copies?
We are not taking phone orders in advance. If we have signed stock available after the event, we may be able to take phone orders at that time.

Did anyone get a good pic of Sammy & I when I gave him the bottle of Costco Tequilla & he popped it open & drank it in B&N? I didn't get a pic & I saw alot of people snapping pics when I was at the table with him.... jetskier5150@aol.com

Sammy was as awesome as ever! He took time with our kids to take photos and took slack from the back of the line~with grace I might add! I just love him!! I actually got a huge bear hug from him before the signing out back of Barnes and Noble! Sammy you rock! Thanks for another great memory! <3

I went to the Huntington Beach book signing & it was cool! Waaaaay cool! There were probably about 1000 or so REDHEADS in the Barnes & Noble zigzaging thru the book aisles. We were about # 200 or so in line?
We were all told to have our books open, it's gonna be quick, he'll just say "Hi" & then you'll be moved along (about 10 seconds or so, because he has to sign every book)...
So I brought Sammy a big gift bottle of our Costco Kirkland Tequila in a bright red wine bottle bag (I knew he loved Cabo Wabo Tequila, but our buyers assured me that Kirkland is top notch)(& not thinking I would get that pass the table where everybody had to leave their "Sammy Gifts"), but lo & behold? just as he was signing my book I put it down right in front of him & told him I brought him a gift from where I've worked at for almost 25 years.
He slid the bottle out & said "KIRKLAND?" & I said "C'mon...Just try it sometime". He looked at his event manager & said, "yeah I've been here awhile & I need a break!" HE TORE OFF THE TEQUILA WRAPPER & TOOK A BIG SWIG IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY! hahahaah! & said, "Not bad" He then told me, "You know what, Kirkland get's all their Tequila & Wines from the best suppliers" He said thanks for the Tequila & high fived me...TOO COOL!
Hey, Sammy, why did you leave so early? I was there about 8:20pm and you were gone already! Well, next time I guess.
I was there! Sammy said, "what's up brother!" I have always been a big fan of Sammy's going back to the Montrose days! He just gets better with age! I play guitar and sing in a few bands myself and Sammy is someone who has always been a big influence and someone I look up to.

i hav my book on my hospital bedtable here at mission hospital...i ws supposed to b there getn signed but got admitted tday fordiabetes...sux..i knw u all had grt time w the red rocker...im sad but ill catcha sammy on the next round, batter up!! JAKI MISSION VIEJO whiter shade of pale i am today!!!

They said bring a reciept to show proof of purchase and it will still get signed. As long as we don't get in a big line. Good luck on getting your book signed.

Do we have to wait and buy the book at the signing? OR do we buy it where ever and bring it in??? I ask because I tried to go to a book signing with Paul McCartney. Got to store at 4:30 am and was 3rd in line when the store opened I was not let in because I did not do the pre sale of the book. PLEASE tell me now what to do I WILL buy the book and I really want to shake Sammy's hand again and thank him for all the good times....
I can't wait to read this book. Have been a fan of Sammy's from Montrose days...!! Have been to over 50 shows and really want to read all his history.
I finished the book before the book signing and LOVED IT!!! I will read again on my cruise to Hawaii in a few weeks.
