Sammy Hagar in San Diego was off the hook! He did a great set of music with energy and cool that is customary for all Sammy Shows. He was also very warm and receptive to the audience including them in the show and being his generous self , signing, and including his fans in the show, and wearing things handed to him and taking time to return them to the rightful owners when through. Just a real class guy. I was lucky enough to have had VIP seats and watched form a vantage point of on the stage (although behind the musicians). It was a fun perspective and you felt like you were part of the action. Especially when he came around up by us and sang literally right next to me. What a thrill. He took time to sign my wife's hat and on he went. During a good portion of his set he wore a Yellow baseball jersey we had made for our Tribute band. I play in a band called OU812 and the singer handed him our jersey that had the OU812 logo on the front and Vitamin T on the back in place of the name and number. He wore it for several songs and then gave it back to Mark our singer. Very cool to have seen him in it. We will be playing down in Cabo San Lucas on the 10th, 11th, and 12th of October at The Hard Rock Cafe playing our part in the festivities for his annual Birthday bash playing Sammy's tunes ranging from Montrose through Van Halen and the Waboritas. We are excited to party with all the Red Heads down there and are hoping for a visit from the numero uno Red Head himself. You never know.
Thank You Sammy for such a great show and for coming through San Diego. We'll see you in Cabo!
