I NEW WHEN SAMMY WAS SCHEDULED TO GO ON FIRST THAT IT WASENT GONNA BE LIKE HIS PAST SHOWS. EVERYONE SHOULD MEMMER THE ONES WHERE SAMMY WOULD PLAY WAY PAST MIDNIGHT WHEN THE SHOW STARTED @ 7:30PM AND NO BACKUP BANDS EITHER. HECK HE DIDNT CARE, DAY OR NIGHT HE JUST WANTED TO JAM AND HE WANTED PEOPLE TO JAM WITH. (HIS REDHEADS).
ONCE HE GOT STARTED HE JUST DIDNT WANT TO STOP AND HE'S STILL THAT WAY. BUT WHEN HE HAD TO GO ON FIRST AND HIS SET WAS OVER YOU COULD TELL THAT SOMETHING DIDNT SET VERY WELL WITH OUR REDROCKER. LIKE HE WAS NOT USE TO PLAYING AN HOUR & 15 MINUTE SET. IT FELT LIKE SOMETHING WAS LEFT ONLY HALF DONE.
"SAMMY WILL ALWAYS STAND ABOVE" WHOEVER! DONT MATTER WHO!
HE CANT BE COMPARED.....
NOW WHEN DAVE CAME ON FOR HIS ACT, WELL......LET ME JUST SAY THAT I WAS NOT MPRESSED AT ALL. HE DIDNT EVEN GET THROUGH THE FIRST SONG WHEN MY GROUP AND I HAD TO VACATE. AS I GOT TO THE TOP OF THE HILL I TURNED AROUND & NOTICED THAT A LOT OF FOLKS HAD THE SAME IDEA AS WE DID. WE SHOULD OF LEFT SOON AFTER SAMMY DEPARTURE BECAUSE THE START OF DAVE'S SHOW WAS DONE WITH VERY POOR TASTE. IF HE KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT WOMAN HE WOULD KNOW THAT WOMAN ARE NOT EASILY TURNED ON BY VISUAL CONSUMPTION.("UNLESS HIS PREFORMANCE WAS INTENDED FOR THE GUYS & NOT THE GALS") HERES WHAT WENT DOWN, DAVE HAD A FULL BOTTLE OF JACK DANIALS THAT WAS HELD IN FRONT OF HIS MID SECTION. ("HOW CREATIVE OF HIM TO COME UP WITH A MAKE SHIFT TALLY WACKER") WATCHING HIM GRIP IT WITH BOTH HANDS & SWING IT SIDE TO SIDE, WHILE THE UP AND DOWN PELVIC THRUSTS HELPED HIM EMPTY THE ENTIRE BOTTLE ON THE PEOPLE DOWN BELOW. I WAS THINKING... "HOW RUDE OF HIM"! NOT EVERYONE WANTS TO WALK AROUND SMELLING OF BOOZE. HE ACTED MORE LIKE "DIZZY DAVE" INSTEAD OF "DIAMOND DAVE". BUT HEY, WHAT EVER FLOATS HIS BOAT! RIGHT?
BUT I GOTTA SAY THE SECOND HALF OF THIS SHOW WAS NOT NEAR AS FUN AS ME GETTING TO SHARE MY VIEWS WITH MY NEIGHBORING REDHEADS.
PEACE
