Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later. My money was on "sooner." Heck, I'm shocked they stayed together long enough to come out with the last album. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they did, but their resent situation is just sad. Sammy said it best himself. Van Halen has one of the most loyal fan bases in the music industry today, yet the rockers have continually treated them like crap. Don't get me wrong: I love their music, but it doesn't seem right that they postpone (cancel?) tour dates without any explanation at all. An explanation.

Did anyone get any of the guitar picks Aaron handed out @ the May 2Nd & 3Rd shows? Aaron did an awesome job both nights. My hats off to him.

I went to both the may 4Th & 5Th shows in Tahoe, and I must say the May 4Th show was better. Due to the fact that there wasn't as many "VIP" or meet & greet people there. I understand why people wait in line ALL day just to be able to get the chance to be up front, but then the people with "VIP" or Meet & Greet passes go in first & the GA people get stuck to the sides or in the back. Not everyone can afford these tickets, and I think its unfair.
We are ALL fans of Sammy & the Wabos, and Chickenfoot.

Sammy I will be at the Greenville Loins Park August 4 in Wisconsin. I have reserve seats in section F.And I enjoy drinking your Cabo Wabo. My home bar has all the flavors. There is a Red Rocker Cabo Wabo guiter on the wall. The problem is it's missing your autograph. I am hopeing I can get you to sign it at the concert at The Greenville Loins Park on August 4. if that's not asking to much.Its about time you came to God's country for a show' cant wait to go.

I never thought I would be able to see Sammy, Michael and Satriani play together, much less within 25 feet of me. Those two hours watching them perform was one of the best days I have ever experienced.

What a polished sound they have! I find it amazing that they have so much great material from just two albums. They could still be playing now (24 hours later), with all the great music between them.

The one thought I came away with is that these guys are genuine and are not doing this for any reason other than they are doing what they love.
