Sammy’s 2020 Birthday Bash Rocked!

October 21, 2020 by Vinny

Happy Birthday Sammy! Shout out to The Circle, Kevin Cronin, and Rick Springfield for an awesome birthday concert from the shores of Catalina Island! Only wished there was more time for a few more tunes. A+ show!

Kevin Cronin singing Roll with the Changes is an epic off the charts version! Jason Bonhams percussion is solid & thumping through!

Thanks for organizing & making this happen Sammy, love live music! :-)

Sammy Hagar and Boston

October 16, 2020 by drumist

I saw Sammy back in 1976 or 77 opening for Boston in Nacogdoches Texas at Stephen F. Austin State University. Ultra cool moment when Sammy took the Red lap steel and sat on the edge of the stage and played the crap out of it. Always thought that was one of the coolest concert moments. He was rockin it way back then. Good old days for sure.

I am at a loss of words. It took me a long time to finally let my thoughts out of the loss of a great musician, father, and thankfully your friend. I was so happy to hear that you and Ed were able to make amendments after all you guys have been through. I so wished you could have had one last tour but that thought has ended. Meeting with you and Van Halen back in way was an incredible and defining moment in my life. I was so nervous to see you guys and you all smiled at laughed when I said thank you for this moment out of your busy schedule just to say hello to me.

Happy B-Day Sammy ! 73 rocking years old, and still rockin' it.

Bonne Fete mon cher Sammy, bon 73e Anniversaire, de ton ami Benoit, de Montreal, Quebec, Canada .

Keep your spirit like it is, it is giving us a push to continue in these weird days, months that we are having in 2020.

Let's hope for another tour in 2021 or 2022, but I want to bring my kids (Samy and Matis) for their 1st RedRocker concert, so keep yourself and your loving family safe, wash your hands, wear your mask!

(When are you going to produce a 'RedRocker' mask for all of us ??? )

Joaquin Phoenix Isn't "Doing Films Anymore"

October 13, 2020 by gilbertgor

It seems that at many red carpet events in San Francisco, ocean king game cheats the fashion comes in second to the actual cause of the 'development' - and that SF's angle round the red carpet: philanthropy. Sure, celebs will look fancy in anything because - well they are celebs, but it's reassuring to see they were mindful of the wedding they are holding. It's not necessarily about being glitzy and glamorous.
